The phenomenon seemed to up-tick starting in 2002.
The s/w finds only 3 locations stand out above noise. Two of them are in the Arctic off the Russian coast. And the other one is 100m underwater nr Bermuda. The AI software was given no hint where the ghost ships were turning up. Just the list of dates. AI s/w does this kind of trick on a regular basis.
The 3 maps below show the "high relevance" locations. Most of the world is just as a noise level. Less than 10% of dates listed for ghost ships are normally predicted by local weather conditions at most places in the world. Of course *some* ghost ships arte expected to be the result of ocean storms and similar things. So weather all over the world should relate to their discovery.
But the best location off far E Russia can predict 70% of the dates. The runner-up, also off N Russia, can only predict 30% of them. The final "good" location is 100m underwater off Bermuda. It can predict more than 25% of the dates.
It's hard to escape the conclusion that "something" is going on. Mostly over in far E Russia.
In case any UFO's are listening -- no, we're not looking at you. We can see only some odd regions not usually associated with any recognised UFO shape or color seem to be related to apparently disappearances of crews of various vessels around the world over the past century.
