Various sat data was TS correlated against different classes of phenomena. The list is very long. From cloud heights, gravity field, altimetry, through temperature, salinity, etc.

The best R2 from all tests was selected for each 10x10 grid box. From the list of boxes the top 100 were selected.

Amazingly, many of the locations have some history. E.g. the location in S Japan corresp almost exactly with an "underwater pyramid". One of the highest-ranked locations is equi-distant from America, Europe and Greenland and corresponds with the supposed location of Atlantis in some folk tales. The so far No 1 site statistically related to UFO reports is apparently in NE Siberia where extremely large sink holes have been recently reported to appear overnight. And, yes, they have seen "merging diamonds" UFOs on the region as well.

The detailed table linking the rank number and the specific R2 for the relevant TS model are as follows. All models were significant at least at the 95% level. Most models were relevant from the T-test on the \beta as well as a nonparametric rank test.
